We want YOU to write for the MITX blog! We want to feature our rock star members, and their points of view, on the most discussed and questioned industry topics. Writing for our blog is a members only benefit and one we hope everyone takes advantage of. Who better to educate our readers than some of our very own?
Each month, we have a specific theme and some brainstorm questions to help you get started writing your post. For example, for April, our guest blogger theme is big data and one of the questions we provided to get our bloggers thinking is: How will big data change advertising and marketing? What do marketers need to know to best leverage it and delight their customers? These questions aren’t required for you to answer; they’re just a little push to help you kick that writers block to the curb and write a fantastic blog post.
The themes for the upcoming months are as follows:
- April: Data & Analytics
- May: Mobile
- June: Social
- July: e-commerce
- August: Data & Analytics
- September: UX & Design
- October: What I Learned at FutureM
- November: e-commerce
- December: Mobile
The requirements for each blog post are below:
- A 400-600 word blog post
- A catchy title for the post
- An image to include (we can also pick this out for you if you’d like)
- A 2-3 sentence bio including your twitter handle
- Your headshot
If this is something you would be interested in (which would make you even more of a rock star), send me an e-mail at taylor-at-mitx-dot-org and we can get the conversation going. We only have a certain number of spots a month so even if your topic is a few months away, let me know that you are 100% interested and I will reserve your spot! If the topic you would want to write about is covered later in the year, I will get you the appropriate questions the month before to get you going.
Looking forward to hearing from you and to reading your awesome blog posts!
