Announcing FutureM 20/20 -- The Future of Marketing from 20 Exciting 20-Somethings

Posted by Jaime Reynolds on Wed, May 30, 2012

About 20/20
New this year, FutureM's 20/20 will bring together a lightning fast flurry of 20 young speakers to offer up provocative ideas, debate-worthy questions and unique scenarios about where Marketing is going and what’s next for the web and mobile. FutureM’s 20/20 track will feature a group of twenty presentations by 20-year old entrepreneurs, students and marketing guru-hopefuls leading the next wave of the industry.

We’re inviting interested 20-somethings from around the nation to submit their topic ideas for consideration. Remember, as you apply to do a session for 20/20, we’re looking for mind-blowing new thinking, so bring your best stuff.

Topic ideas are due Friday, June 29th, 2012 and can be submitted online.

Additional Submission Ideas
In addition, FutureM is requesting new submissions for the limited spots remaining in the schedule. The sessions that have been accepted to-date were short, yet descriptive enough for FutureM’s selection committee to feel confident that they met our selection criteria:

  1. Forward-thinking topics that speak to the future. We are not looking for “101” sessions or “how-to’s.”
  2. Unique ideas, either in format or approach to the topic. Unique could be a fresh topic, a fun format that goes beyond a presentation or a fantastic line-up of never-seen-before speakers.**
  3. Relevant topics about Marketing with a capital M (meaning encompassing all parts of the business where customer communications are happening, like in customer support or R&D).

So make sure your session proposal addresses these three areas!

**While we’re on the topic of “unique,” keep in mind we’ve already accepted proposals on the topics below. If your idea fits in any of these buckets, make sure it's clear why it is unique!
