Check out the latest announcement about FutureM 2012!
Today, FutureM, a weeklong event experience on the future of Marketing, announced the locations that will host its 2012 event – Back Bay, the Innovation District and Kendall Square. This trifecta allows FutureM to showcase the innovative companies in the region and feed off of the most innovative parts of the Greater Boston area.
“In Boston, we are delighted to be home to so many businesses that are re-inventing the future of marketing and to FutureM which helps them do that,” said Mayor Thomas M. Menino.
Offering a unique perspective, each area contains companies that are heavily involved with shaping modern marketing and technology innovation trends impacting the industry. This year, FutureM will tap:
• Hynes Convention Center in Boston’s Back Bay, which has welcomed guests for conventions, trade shows and other world-class events
• The Innovation District’s Fidelity Center for Applied Technology, that studies technological advances in a wide variety of industries
• Microsoft’s New England Research and Development Center in Kendall Square, Cambridge Massachusetts, a hub for entrepreneurialism and start-up culture

“Back Bay, the Innovation District and Kendall Square foster creative thinking, technology advancement and discovery – which is exactly what FutureM represents,” said Debi Kleiman. “We’re so pleased that our FutureM campus will cover these locations and look forward to exploring the possibilities FutureM will bring to each spot.”
FutureM is currently enlisting sponsors who want to create a fully integrated experience at the event. Attendees and participating companies alike are encouraged to follow the event experience on Facebook, Twitter (@FutureMBoston and #FutureM), LinkedIn and on MITX’s blog.
