Help Us Create the Next MITX Website

MITX - What's NextYup, you read it right.  We want to build the next generation of MITX.org. And we need your help.

MITX is experiencing new heights of growth and engagement from our community. Our industry and the Boston digital technology scene are looking for more from us, and we want to give it to you. We think the sky is the limit in terms of where we can go together, and we need the right online hub to make it happen.

In true MITX form, we want to bring our community in on the action - to work together to create a site that is the center of our digital presence, but also to create a site that is YOURS, the place YOU go to be inspired, educated and connected.

So today, via this blog post, we are launching our RFP to find a partner that can help us take our digital presence to the next level. This project is about recreating our digital core, and it is a venture that is critically important to the organization and our members.   We want our website to represent the best practices in the industry we serve, and we want to “practice what we preach.”

To date, MITX has done a pretty good job creating in-person experiences that bring us together. But there’s more that can be done to facilitate this.

We want MITX.org to be the “town square” of online conversations, where community members come together to learn from each other and to be inspired to try something new.  MITX.org should be your go-to online resource for learning about digital innovation, Internet business and digital marketing.  The site is for you.  We want it to showcase, educate and inspire you.

We want you to have a say in how you want it to look and what you want it to do. While we have an RFP and are officially looking for a partner to help us bring this to life, we also want to have as many people from our community involved as possible so that we can be sure we are creating an experience that you want, need and expect.

So whether you’re submitting a response to the RFP to become our digital partner, or just want to share your feedback in a less informal way, we welcome it all.

Submit your response now* (proposals are due by Friday, March 30th), and keep your eyes open for our brainstorm sessions where we’ll be collecting your thoughts on what you would like to see as part of our new digital presence.  We are excited for what’s ahead, and we hope you are too.
