Today FutureM, the annual event showcasing the future of Marketing, unveiled its first round of keynote and featured speakers for the national gathering of brand innovators, business leaders, investors and influencers, which will take place October 16-18, 2013 at the Hynes Convention Center in Boston. Fidelity Executive Vice President Jim Speros and IDC Vice President Kathleen Schaub are among the prestigious line-up of keynote speakers confirmed for this year's event. Additional details on their keynote topics and other featured speakers include:

Jim Speros, EVP, Fidelity Communications and Advertising, will deliver a keynote address titled, "Find Your Golden Thread." His talk will explore the "golden thread" that connects ideas and insights based on a deep understanding of the human condition. Marketers who focus on these compelling insights will define the winners and losers of the 21st century and build enduring value for their companies.

Kathleen Schaub, Vice President of IDC's CMO Advisory Practice, will deliver a keynote address titled, "Transforming the CMO + CIO Dialog." The presentation will discuss how big data, new automation and the explosion of new communication channels require a fundamental shift in how the CMO and CIO work together toward shared success.

FutureM's 2013 theme, "Innovation at Intersections," will explore how digital technology and media are colliding with new industries and ideas to reshape the modern marketing landscape. Other featured speakers in this year's lineup include:
