In speaking to Bryan Maleszyk, the Senior Interaction Designer at Isobar North America, I asked him candidly, why he became involved with the MITX Advisory Committee that meets to discuss trends and programming considerations for the User Experience educational programming track. His response:
"As an interactive designer, we are tasked with creating and reinventing new experiences that are more and more connected to our daily lives.
By sharing knowledge to create a common language around how those experiences affect us, designers - interaction and otherwise - have more opportunity to create a richer world. It's something I'm passionate about and proud to be a part of."
Currently, we're looking for advisors who specialize in emerging technologies and branding. If you're someone who has your finger on the pulse of the industry, and you'd like to get involved, we'd love to hear from you!
The time commitment varies, but each event we produce requires 2-3, 30-60 minute meetings or calls with the team -- and we produce one event a quarter for each area we focus on.
