The show also recognized two of Boston's key visionaries in the technology industry, Jeremy Allaire, inductee of the Innovation Hall of Fame, and Bill Bulkeley, Lifetime Achievement Award recipient. Both men reflected on the ever-growing nature of the tech industry, their successful careers as luminaries, and especially the enabling entrepreneurial environment of Boston. MITX Future Leader Group member Matt Lauzon, Founder & CEO of Gemvara - a winner of 2 awards - also shared these sentiments, as he noted the energetic ecosystem of the region that is perpetuating such things as Innovation Month and the execution of inventive startups like his own.
Full of heartfelt speeches and new technologies, the 2010 Technology Awards continued MITX's tradition of lauding the companies and individuals in New England that represent the energy, insight, and passion of What's Next.
